The Health sector is the fundamental pillar of the social work of the Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil and its most representative area. Through a solid hospital network made up of the Luis Vernaza Hospital, the Roberto Gilbert Hospital, the Alfredo Paulson Hospital, and the Institute of Neurosciences, we provide quality medical care to the entire Ecuadorian population, with a priority focus on the most vulnerable sectors. <\/p>\n

As part of our self-management model to sustain social work, we also have a pension sector, which generates resources that are reinvested in health care and social programs for those who need it most. Through the educational network that it manages and the sports school led by the Junta de Beneficencia, it offers countless opportunities to boys, girls, and young people, providing them with preparation for the future and providing them with tools that train and empower them for the labor market.<\/p>\n

Its educational units offer the alternative of dual Baccalaureate, which promotes the increase in the percentage of employability at the end of Baccalaureate. By 2028, the Junta de Beneficencia plans to have 16 vocational training colleges nationwide. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Manuel Galecio Home in Alaus\u00ed is an institution committed to the care and comprehensive education of young people, providing them with a holistic education that encompasses all aspects of the person, which allows them to achieve a complete and harmonious development of their skills.<\/p>\n

The Coraz\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas Home in Guayaquil, and San Pedro de Alaus\u00ed, are shelters where hundreds of older people, both men and women, enjoy a calm and peaceful environment, in which order, cleanliness and care are prioritized.<\/p>\n

In its commitment to accompany with sensitivity and respect in the most difficult moments, the Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil offers comprehensive support to families facing the loss of a loved one, through its funeral sector.<\/p>\n

We have the General Cemetery<\/b> and the Metropolitan Pantheon<\/b>, spaces that provide funeral services with human warmth, adequate infrastructure, and personalized attention. Our focus is not only on offering funeral solutions, but on accompanying and consoling<\/b> those who are going through a moment of grief.<\/p>\n

The National Lottery was created by Law in August 1894, with the idea of turning it into our main source of resources to sustain the great charitable work we do. Over the years, the National Lottery has established itself as a tradition of our people, part of the collective consciousness of all Ecuadorians, who know that by buying a \u201cguachito\u201d from the National Lottery, they are not only betting on luck, but also contributing to the maintenance of our social work.

The history of the Lottery and the Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil is best told with the testimonies of hundreds of thousands of people who have been benefited by luck and who have received their economic prizes in a timely manner. In the same way, with the income generated by the Lottery, thousands of Ecuadorians can receive medical and social care annually, since 100% of the money generated by the sale of the Lottery is destined to our charitable work.
